Update from the Hillcrest Merchants Association Meeting..

posted Apr 20, 2011, 12:34 PM by Unknown user

The Hillcrest Merchants Association met last week for their Annual Meeting.  Three important pieces of information were shared during that meeting that we would like to share with you.

1.  KROGER- Kroger announced last week that on May 9, 2011 they will be adding 150 ft of more aisle space for grocery items.  This will be done by rearranging of several aisles and adding higher shelving to areas with shorter shelves.  Fear not- the 115 different types of cheeses will remain.

2.  Cops in Hillcrest- There have been increased incidents of fast and reckless driving through our neighborhood during weekends.  The city has agreed to step up their patrolling of Hillcrest.  In the upcoming weeks you should see more patrols on our streets slowing the traffic down.

3.  Pulaski Heights Presbyterian Church will begin renting out the small Historic Chapel on their property.  A Grand Opening of this chapel will be held at May's First Thursday Event.  For more information on renting the Chapel contact Pulaski Heights Presbyterian Church.
